Corrugated plastic is an inexpensive, light-weight material used in most real estate signs. The image on the left shows 4mm, 6mm, and 10mm thicknesses. We typically stock 4mm, 5mm, 6mm and 10mm thicknesses. Thicker signs are more durable and rigid.
Dibond is a sturdy, durable composite material consisting of a solid polyethelene core sandwiched between two sheets of aluminum. Dibond is an excellent alternative to solid aluminum because it is sturdy and light-weight.
Styrene plastic is a thin, flexible, light-weight material. It is inexpensive and is best suited to temporary applications.
Aluminum is highly durable and rigid. Most street signs are made from .080 thickness aluminum.
High Density Polypropylene sheets are solid plastic. Rigidity varies depending on the thickness.
Plywood is thicker and less durable than aluminum. It is heavy and is best suited to permanent applications.
